engine production line
summary:
1. Overall structure of engine production line
Engine assembly line: A long suspended conveyor chain runs through the entire workshop. Workpieces (engine cylinder block/cylinder head or assembly) are fixed on the conveyor chain through tooling fixtures and transferred in turn according to the process, realizing continuous operations from processing to assembly.
Multi-station collaborative operation: Multiple independent stations (such as processing stations, assembly stations, and testing stations) are distributed on both sides of the line, and each station is equipped with special equipment (machine tools, robots, tightening guns, detectors, etc.). Coordinate actions through the synchronous control system to ensure consistent beats.
Combination of automation and manual work: Critical processes (such as drilling, milling, and balance testing) are completed by CNC equipment or industrial robots (such as execution mechanisms connected with orange air pipes), and auxiliary processes (such as material placement and visual inspection) may retain manual operations, reflecting the "human-machine collaboration" model.
2. Core equipment and process of engine production line
Automatic tightening system: The red knob is a torque sensor that accurately tightens the bolts (such as crankshaft bearing caps and cylinder head screws) to ensure assembly accuracy.
Material transportation: A pneumatic system connected by an orange air pipe provides power to the equipment. The orange tray below may be used to store parts to be assembled (such as pistons, connecting rods, and valve assemblies), which are loaded to the workstation through AGV or manual.
Dynamic balance test: Check the dynamic balance of the crankshaft or rotor assembly to avoid excessive vibration during engine operation.
Sealing test: Test the sealing performance of cylinder block and cylinder head through water pressure or air pressure to prevent oil leakage and air leakage.
3. Visual identification and control of engine production line
The white sign hanging above the workstation marks information such as "process points" and "measuring tool points", and cooperates with the manufacturing execution system to display production data (such as process progress, yield, and equipment status) in real time.
Sensors (such as temperature, pressure, and position sensors) on the equipment collect data in real time and transmit it to the central control system through PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or industrial Ethernet to achieve fault warning and quality traceability.
Fixtures are designed with positioning pins and sensor detection to prevent incorrect or missed installation of workpieces; torque wrenches are connected to the system, and an automatic alarm will be issued if the torque range is exceeded.
The engine production line is the core manufacturing system in the automobile, shipbuilding and other industrial fields. The engine assembly line assembles various components of the engine, covering the entire process from the cylinder block to the engine offline, and ultimately forming a complete engine production line. The engine production line we provide is efficient, intelligent and automated. The engine production line integrates industrial robot automatic press fitting, AI cylinder block inspection and closed-loop torque control systems. It supports gasoline/diesel/hybrid production and is compatible with inline 4-cylinder, V6/V8 and other models to meet the needs of multiple product lines in the main engine factory! The production line is equipped with online measurement equipment and a full-process data traceability system to support customer batch quality inspection and after-sales traceability!
